Prince Carl Philip fulfils his childhood dream in the legendary Porsche 962 C

A unique event took place at Mantorp Park in Sweden: His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip drove the iconic Porsche 962 C – a car he admired as a young boy when Hans-Joachim Stuck raced it.

The car, equipped with two turbochargers, 700 hp and weighing just 850 kg, was restored to its 1987 specifications at the Weissach Development Centre.

The Prince, a Porsche Carrera Cup veteran and motorsport enthusiast, quickly found his feet in the demanding design.

‘It’s a dream come true,’ he admitted after a few quick demonstration laps. The Porsche Heritage team was impressed by his precision and feel for the car.

Dior Maison presents festive tableware inspired by Baroque theatre

With Christmas approaching, Dior Maison presents a new collection inspired by the Dior Cruise 2026 show in Rome.

The collection features Stella’s dioreski motifs with a star and a dioreski butterfly, symbolising dreams and lightness. These decorations enliven Limoges porcelain, embroidered cushions, candles and notebooks, creating a harmonious story.

A special touch is added by unique items created in collaboration with Manufaktura Émaux de Longwy – a box and a tray for small items.

The Lotus Flower sofa design by Bogusław Barnaś, founder of the Polish studio BXB studio, won the main prize in the international SIT Furniture Design Award 2025 competition in the couches and sofas category. This prestigious award confirms the growing position of Polish design in the world.

The sofa combines modern minimalism with traditional forms and inspiration from nature, creating a recognizable, organic shape inspired by the lotus flower. Made of the highest quality materials, it emphasizes the studio’s philosophy – harmony between nature and architecture.

🇺🇸 Aston Martin Valkyrie achieves best result in IMSA – sixth place at Road America

The Aston Martin Valkyrie achieved its best result to date in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, finishing sixth at Road America.

It was a breakthrough weekend for the Aston Martin THOR team and drivers Ross Gunn and Romano De Angelis, with the British hypercar extending its run of six top-10 finishes and remaining unbeaten in its debut IMSA season.

The Valkyrie, the only hypercar competing in IMSA and WEC, showed its potential in qualifying. In a race full of neutralizations, the team maintained a competitive pace, with the car even leading in fifth place at one point. It ultimately finished 16.5 seconds behind the winner.

Valkyrie’s next race will take place on September 19–21 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

In La Chaux-de-Fonds, TAG Heuer has kicked off the Spring/Summer 2025 season with a collection of eyewear that defines style for sunny days. It is designed for those who expect more than classic elegance – who seek form, functionality and a distinctive identity.

Three unique lines – ‘Jack Heuer’, ‘Mini Vingt-Sept’ and ‘Shield Pro’ – combine Swiss precision with urban character and a sporty edge.
